In my view, sharing yogic āsana (postural) practices is an invitation to deepen our relationship with ourselves, from the inside. I’m particularly inspired by sharing practices where this relationship is crucial: while managing illness, emotional, physical and mental stress and within the complexity of societal and structural forces which deeply impact our lives.

Practices offered are individualized, available on the floor, chair or bed and include:

yoga āsana : physical postures to assist in preparing the body for meditation

prāṇāyāma : breath & energy practices

meditation : single pointed awareness

śavasana : rest.

Currently I share these practices with hospitalized patients on an inpatient malignant hematology and bone marrow transplant service. Read more about this offering in this article Teaching Yoga in a Hospital Setting in the Accessible Yoga Blog.
