Use a good quality lotion or oil* and massage your entire body. Self-touch increases oxytocin, boosts the immune system and decreases cortisol, the stress hormone. Set a timer for 20 minutes.

1. Massage starting from the bottom of your feet and apply strokes upwards towards the torso, then from the fingers towards the armpits. This helps drain lymph/inflammation to the lymph nodes to support the immune system.
2. Place extra attention around all your joints to support their fluidity (include all finger joints!)
3. Massage your belly in a clockwise direction. Our guts are trying to digest so much emotionally and physically and this may help.

Dry massage tips:
1. Our postures are changing with new lifestyles. Roll on a tennis ball behind your shoulders either on the floor or on the wall. Perhaps put two balls in a sock and place on the sides of your neck/spine and roll.
2. Foam roll – or put your holiday rolling pin to use. Roll over your bum and around all sides of your legs.
3. Gently massage around your jaw, the secret place where stress hides. Try this while putting on a face mask in the bathtub.

Be well, all. Sending blessings to you.

*mahanarayan oil is a favorite. organic food grade sesame oil also does the trick.
